about

The Cables full length debut "Five O'clock Shadow" was released in June of '97. Twelve songs show the variety and texture delivered when you pair the cables with bay area producer Mark Keaton. "Nicotine fit" is a chewy chunk of punk-spiked bubble gum. "In the meantime" is a dreamy Brit-pop tea party interrupted by new wave gate crashers. -Karla Peterson San Diego Union-Tribune.
